I Do Not Like Mondays

Could be any old Tuesday, but what do you know?
I’ve now been here on Earth half of a century! So
I’ve been thinking, reflecting back on the past,
Recognizing each time that I’ve had to outlast
Some difficult times. Yet there’s so many more
Of good times and great moments that happened before
My own eyes. And thereby I’ll leave you with this:
Try to live so that no opportunity’s missed.
As we look at the things that we’ve done and we did,
Tally ho! Remember, you’re just a big kid.
